Estudou musica em Leeds College of Music, no Reino Unido, onde completou a
licenciatura em 1997. Permaneceu mais 5 anos no Reino Unido, trabalhando como
freelance em bandas de repertorio variado. Tocou em varios sitios iconicos como
o Ronnie Scotts e a Jam House, e participou em varios festivais de Jazz
(Birmingham Jazz, Edinburgh Jazz, Cork Jazz, etc).
Ainda trabalhou em Shanghai, China, onde gravou um disco ‘close your eyes and
listen’ com musico colombiano Alvaro Cardenas.

Carl completed his music degree in Leeds College of Music, UK in 1997 as a bass major. He spent 5 years touring the UK with several bands performing in jazz festivals and venues, such as Ronnie Scott’s, The Jam House, Birmingham Jazz Festival, Cork Jazz Festival, amongst others. Later he briefly moved to China where he enjoyed 4 years in the Shanghai music scene, recording and performing, before returning to Portugal in 2015.

Frequentou o curso de Piano e composição da Academia de artes e novas
Tecnologias.
Estudou Piano Classico durante cinco anos.
Frequentou os cursos de Piano e Percussão na Esola de Jazz do Hot Club.
Em Inglaterra completou, com distinçao, o curso BTEC National Diploma in
Popular Music no Bournemouth and Poole College.
Iniciou-se a actuar em publico, aos 15 anos, como baterista substituto no
Casino Estoril.

GEORGE ESTEVES piano and vocals
George Esteves began his musical career at 15 years as substitute drummer in the Estoril Casino. He studied classical piano for five years, continued study of piano and composition at the Academy of Arts and New Technologies, and also attended piano and percussion courses at the Hot Club Jazz Escola. In England he completed, with distinction, the BTEC National Diploma in Popular Music in Bournemouth and Poole College.
